Volunteers play an important role at the Hospice. Some are young and some are old, some work, and some are retired, but they all have a common desire, to be a part of a vital team of leaders in end-of-life care. Volunteers give their time and their skills to enhance and extend hospice care and palliative services.

“Like most nonprofit organizations, we rely heavily on contributions from caring individuals and corporations in order to continue our good work,” explains Marilyn Hannus, President and CEO of the Hospice. “Normally donations come in as a result of our fund raising efforts.
