New book, "Your Daughter Has Been Diagnosed With Rett Syndrome" to be Released January 28, 2006

New book deals with frank, first strike information and help with dealing with a diagnosis of Rett Syndrome.

The new book, "Your Daughter Has Been Diagnosed With Rett Syndrome" tackles first hand reactions, next step instructions and coping mechanisms in dealing with a diagnosis of Rett Syndrome. Part of the proceeds of the book sales go to Rett Syndrome research. One out of every 15,000 girls born have Rett Syndrome. Males born with the Rett gene generally die at birth. Rett Syndrome is often mistaken for other syndromes or conditions. It is not uncommon for girls to go their entire lives without getting a correct diagnosis.

The author will be making donations to Rett Syndrome research from part of the sales proceeds. "It would be great to find a cure for Rett Syndrome in my lifetime. For that to happen, it needs money to attract good researchers."

The author, Kim Isaac Greenblatt, lives with his wife, Sharren, son Jacob and daughter, Arianna. Arianna has Rett Syndrome.
