Warning Issued by NEWFACES.COM About Imposter Model Agency

NEWFACES.COM, the internet's premier online talent portfolio site, released a consumer warning today about a business posing as New Faces while scouting for would-be models.

Los Angeles,CA (PRWEB) February 1, 2006 -- eCLICK Interactive Inc., the parent company of NEWFACES.COM and owner of the NEW FACES trademark, released a consumer warning today about a business posing as New Faces while scouting for would-be models.

"We have discovered that this company has been using our trademarked name NEW FACES and directing people to look at our website at http://www.NEWFACES.com representing it as their own, in order for their "talent scouts" to get model hopefuls to purchase their products and services," said Hilary Rowland. "I want to warn consumers that The New Faces Development Center is not and never has been in any way associated with NEWFACES.COM."

The state of New York recently reached a settlement with The New Faces Development Center, which was cited for making deceptive, and exaggerated claims about the services it provided to aspiring models and actors. Under the settlement, The New Faces Development Center will pay the state $75,000 in penalties and $2,000 in costs, and up to $500,000 in restitution to aggrieved consumers.

Prior to the settlement, the Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau and the Nassau County Department of Consumer Affairs had received approximately 55 complaints against "The New Faces Development Center" which also does business under the following names: Image Models Inc.,The New Faces Development Center Inc., Gigacomps.com, and Vanique Model Management
