v-Fluence Participates in National Meeting Focusing on Agriculture and Rural Issues

Jay Byrne presents on emerging influences impacting public attitudes on food issues.

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) January 27, 2006 -- Jay Byrne (http://www.v-fluence.com/about/jay.byrne.html) , president of v-Fluence Interactive Public Relations (http://www.v-fluence.com/) , joined the state legislative leadership of agriculture and rural committees from 43 states, four Canadian Provinces and Puerto Rico at the fourth annual Legislative Agricultural Chairs Summit.

The meeting, a collaborative project of The Council of State Governments, the National Conference of State Legislatures and the Rural Policy Research Institute was held in Phoenix, Arizona, January 20-22. The invitation-only meeting, which has historically been set to coincide with the beginning of legislative sessions around the country, provides an opportunity for building relationships and sharing solutions among members.

Mr. Byrne presented findings on advocacy and marketing influences affecting agriculture and participated in a weekend agenda that was packed with workshops, plenary sessions and round table discussions on topics such as Internet access, supporting livestock production, developing a regional response to economic development issues and the role of states in foreign trade.
