Geotoys, the maker of the GeoPuzzle, has joined ASTRA (the Association of Specialty Toy Retailers of America), and plans to exhibit a full line of GeoPuzzles at the ASTRA trade show in May.

Bob Galinsky, founder of Geotoys, invented the GeoPuzzle because he wanted to teach his 5-year old son about geography.

GeoPuzzles are high-quality jigsaw puzzles of the major continents. Professionally designed by an art professor, the pieces of a GeoPuzzle are shaped like individual countries so that children learn not only the names of the nations, but where they are located and how the entire continent “fits together.”

A GeoPuzzle of Europe sold very well in limited release for Christmas, inspiring Galinsky to invest in a full line of puzzles. "Kids love the puzzles, as do parents and teachers," says Galinsky. "We also got some wonderful recommendations from respected sources like geography.about.com and Geography World". GeoPuzzles of Asia, Africa, North and South America are expected by May.
