LGX OLAP Reporting contains a Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) Engine that creates optimized dynamic MDX commands, allowing analysts via a Web browser efficient access to OLAP data sources such as Microsoft Analysis Services and Hyperion Essbase. Features include cube, dimension and measure selection, drilldown, slicing and filtering, sorting, charting, saving of sessions for later viewing, and more. Based on LogiXML's commitment to open and industry standards, LogiXML's MDX Engine uses the XML for Analysis (XML/A) standard.
