People Like Us (pOprOck records), produced by Arrica Rose and Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Sleater-Kinney, The Decemberists) is best described as mellow Indie-rock with a hint of alt-country. The album features Rose's rich smoky vocals backed by the melodic strummings and energetic beats of her band, fondly referred to as the 'dot dot dots.' Their particular brand of indie-rock has been described as having a lullaby affect with an underlying intensity coming from Rose's songwriting and delivery that creates a perfect combination of beauty, energy and restraint.
