Jak's Tap (www.jakstap.com) on Jackson and Village Tap (www.thevillagetap.com) were the first two venues to sign up for the free service, dubbed WiFlux™.

The WiFlux service is free to both end-users and venue operators. Revenues from the service will be generated through targeted advertising from strategic Tantus partners, and from local businesses to the more than 20,000 expected daily users of the Hotspot service.

“The service is going to be very community-oriented, allowing host venues to market their own products and services, while attracting more visitors, who will stay longer, at their locations," remarked David Wieland, President. “We're excited to see some good usage at these locations, and many more installations in the pipeline.”
