'Captain Canuck' Creator Ron Leishman Expands His Commercial Cartoon Success With a New Internet Cartoon Site: Toonclipart.com No more superheroes. Toonclipart is a unique source for fresh cartoon clipart ans stock images. Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) February 9, 2006 -- He provided Canada with the country's first superhero -- Captain Canuck.
That was back in 1971. Since then, Ron Leishman has developed his cartooning skills to form a legion of delightful characters that have been selected by companies and individuals around the world for online and print publications. One of the chosen few who have become successful Internet entrepreneurs, his popular Toonaday.com website is proudly announcing its first child: Toonclipart.com.
“Cartoon art is a fantastically simple way to say something complex,” says Leishman, who has built his business on providing clients with both pre-created and custom cartoon art. “But the secret is to deliver artwork quickly when people require it, and at prices they can afford. With instant downloads, and no subscription fees, Toonclipart.com addresses these needs” explains Leishman.
This is the first time Leishman's unique characterizations have been made available as downloadable “packages,” resulting in enormous cost savings. The artwork is organized into themes, providing an easy and affordable way for everyone to have his unique accents grace their pages. Crazy kids, business minded bears (complete with suit and tie), and many other categories are available... and the list will keep growing.
At present Ron himself has created all of the images, but plans call for including work by other cartoonists as well. “Much like Toonaday.com, Toonclipart.com will focus only on cartoons. When a potential customer is specifically looking for cartoons for a project they won’t have to wade through collections of photos and illustrations as well.”
