“Oklahomans should more than ever support Oklahoma’s energy industry”, stated Mark A. Stansberry, president of The International Society of The Energy Advocates speaking before two groups this week, the Oklahoma Soybean Expo and the University of Oklahoma Energy Advocates Chapter, Norman.

“First and foremost, we need to support Oklahoma’s oil and gas industry. The oil and gas industry has been and will continue well into the future to be a driving force of our economy.”

“Our state’s energy development is the key to a viable economy and to the availability of jobs. Oklahoma is a vital link to the nation.”

Stansberry goes on to state, “Oklahoma should be ‘America’s Center for Energy Excellence’ when it comes to research and development. Therefore, Oklahoma should excel in technological advancement. The agricultural sector and the higher education system are needed for this success.”
