Boot Camp Creator Opens Fitness Studio For Women in New Haven

New Haven's only personal training and group fitness center exclusively for women to open March 18, 2006.

New Haven, CT (PRWEB) February 15, 2006 -- Mubarakah Ibrahim owner of BALANCE fitness and creator of the area’s first outdoor fitness boot camp for women last summer will open a fitness studio for women next month in New Haven. BALANCE fitness has been a constantly moving force in the area of innovative fitness for women in Connecticut. This AFAA certified personal trainer seems to find the unfilled niche and fills it to the brim. BALANCE fitness was the first in the New Haven area to offer in-home personal training for women, as well as the first in the state to offer an outdoor fitness boot camp for women. “Fitness should be fun not another chore on your to do list” says this budding fitness entrepreneur, “I don’t want to just get women to exercise, I want them to want to exercise”.

The 1500 square foot Studio space is described as “a quaint oasis where bodies will be shaped, minds enlightened and spirits transformed, by the will of God”, says the owner and AFAA certified personal trainer. Located in the middle of the city on Whalley avenue it is sure to catch the attention of women who’s looking to get their but kicked into shape with a smile. The studio won’t be your everyday gym or group class studio but rather is meant for those “who are serious about being healthy and strong and loving it” Says Mubarakah. “I want each woman that walks through the door to have a goal and purpose, and the studio will just be the vehicle to help her get to her destination”. The Studio will offer one-on-one personal training, and group training as well, which Mubarakah describes as “a more pocketbook friendly way of getting a personal trainer” and splitting the cost with 3 to 5 other people. In addition it will host some more commonly known group classes like kickboxing, yoga and pilates and some innovative ways of exercising like belly dancing, and ti-chi, “which are great forms of exercise that most people don’t think of making apart of their fitness routine” says this 29 year old. In addition to fitness services the studio will also host a series of lectures and workshops each month.

With Grand Opening Ceremonies set to take place on Saturday March 18, 2006 at 12 Noon, the studio is sure to take the city and its women by storm when it opens with its marketing campaign of GOT FAT? Get rid of it at The Studio.
