69 Views Every Second; Most Popular Web Clock on Internet Surpasses 6 Miilion Views in 24 Hours ClockLink, the free falsh clock rental services, announces it surpassed 6 million clock views in one day. Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) February 23, 2006 -- Today, Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. (hereafter PSPINC), announced that the Clocks PSPINC created for Internet users to place on their Web page was downloaded more than 6,000,000 times in a 24 hour period.
Beginning in 2004, PSPINC quietly launched a FLASH based Clock service for web developers. The Clock was designed to show any time zone around the world, plus it was free. In addition to regular Web pages, many Blog users started to include the Clock on their pages. "We just exceeded 5 million views on the 25th of January." says Ken Uchikura, CEO of Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. "We gained 1,000,000 views in less than one month. It took two months to go from 4 million to 5 million." Ken continued.
Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. plans to sell its $50 per month fixed advertisement for anyone who pays $100 to create a logo clock to be distributed. But at the current growth, PSP may not have time to sell advertisements. With more than 69 views every second, PSPINC's priority is to upgrade the system to withstand the exponential growth of ClockLink. "We have started the programming and system upgrade." Ken says. "I hope we can handle the growth that we are seeing. It is a good thing, isn't it?" Ken concluded.
