EKTIMIS Introduces Respect-Themed Original Artifacts That Honor and Support The Brave Men and Women of The US Military EKTIMIS expands its Special Edition Artifact series by adding military-themed artistic works. The newest additions feature original, respect-themed, framed artworks that recognize and honor the brave men and women of the US military. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of each artifact will be donated to the Fisher House Foundation through a special arrangement. Boston, MA (PRWEB) January 26, 2010 EKTIMIS, an innovative brand focused on reshaping thinking and attitudes, expands its Special Edition artifact program by introducing specially commissioned artistic works that depict and honor the brave men and women of the US military. The artistic works are created and portrayed around a central theme of respect. A spokesperson for EKTIMIS states that portions of the proceeds from the sale of the special artifacts will be donated to the Fisher House Foundation (FHF), a non-profit foundation based in Rockville, Maryland, through a special arrangement. With the U.S. military under increasing pressure to respond to a variety of service calls, including global humanitarian missions, the Fisher House Foundation continues to face the growing challenge of meeting the support needs of military families when their loved ones sustain major injuries. The EKTIMIS military-themed respect artifacts were created in part to support the nationally recognized Fisher House program. The EKTIMIS Special Edition Artifact program is generally focused on the creation of original artworks that honor specific roles (in society) that command respect. The program follows the EKTIMIS Respect model. The program is also a tool designed to be used by EKTIMIS to inspire children, young adults and families, and to promote powerful lessons on respect - consistent with the EKTIMIS mission. Additional special edition artifacts honoring other professions (roles) are planned during the current year (2010) and on a bi-annual basis going forward. EKTIMIS is a brand created by Niyi Taiwo, author of the EKTIMIS Top Ten Laws of Respect literary principles, and author of the Top Ten Laws of Respect book series. He states, "These original artistic works honor the brave men and women of the US military by placing emphasis on their patriotism, bravery and the respectful nature of their role and service." The military-themed artistic works are currently available at ektimis.com. Additional distribution outlets are planned and will be announced as they become available. About Fisher House Foundation:
