Baby boomers and the younger generation are showing renewed interest in RV travel as reflected at the North Carolina RV & Camping Show where vendors reported an increase in units sold over last year.

South Dakota finished 2009 with a 10% increase in camping across the state. Other states such as Texas have also reported increased numbers or RVers looking to winter in campgrounds.

GoRving recently appointed Bob Olson of Winnebago as co-chair alongside Tom Stinnett. Olson brings over 40 years experience with the RV industry and expectations are that he will increase visibility of the RV industry.
