CircuitAsia’s "A Taste of Boracay Party" to Push Through Next Year CircuitAsia, the circuit party authority this part of the globe formally announces the rescheduling of its "A Taste of Boracay Party" to next year, due to unfavorable travel advisories facing the Philippines at this time. (PRWEB) March 3, 2006 -- CircuitAsia, the circuit party authority this part of the globe formally announces the rescheduling of its "A Taste of Boracay Party" to next year, due to unfavorable travel advisories facing the Philippines at this time. “In the wake of Manila’s unsettling political environment right now, we have decided to move our 'A Taste of Boracay Party', slated this April 28 to May 1, to next year (2007),” states Ding Pastrana, Founding President and Chairman.
The Philippine government declared a state of national emergency last February 24, 2006 after a series of protest rallies and rumors of destabilization efforts. This has prompted the foreign consulates of the United States, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong to issue travel advisories to its citizens on taking precautionary measures upon visiting the Philippines.
“What we have started with our CircuitAsia 2005 Party last year (April 28 to May 1) was for the Philippines to gain global recognition as a recurring and in-demand circuit party destination in Asia every year,” adds Mr. Pastrana. “But with the recent slew of unpleasant news facing Manila, we have decided not to compromise with the security and safety of our potential patrons and visitors.”
The "CircuitAsia 2006: A Taste of Boracay Party" is aimed at targeting circuit partygoers hailing mainly from North America, Europe, Australia and the rest of Asia. Last year’s three-day dance party (April 28 to May 1, 2005) gained wide international acclaim and interest after boasting a parade of world-renowned circuit party DJs and performers, lavish production numbers and set designs, and state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology.
Except for "CircuitAsia 2006: A Taste of Boracay Party" that should draw a large international following, CircuitAsia will still push through with its scheduled local dance events to sustain its local market of circuit party aficionados. For its summer offering, CircuitAsia will stage "Paradiso Nights" on April 14 in Puerto Galera, back to back with Club Government and Kokun Event’s "Resurrection," also in Puerto Galera. CircuitAsia is holding these events to bring in the spirit of oneness in its continuous support of circuit parties, as well as its steady backing of its main beneficiary, the Gift Foundation. Partying with a cause has always been CircuitAsia’s guiding principle, which "Paradiso Nights" and "Resurrection" seek to uphold.
For 2007, CircuitAsia remains confident that the political climate will be stable by then and that its slated international dance party will push through. To be held in the beautiful island of Boracay famed for its powder-white sand and azure waters in next year’s Labor Day weekend (April 27 to May 1, 2007), CircuitAsia is firmly committed with its mission to bring the ultimate dance party experience to the international circuit party community.
CircuitAsia recently concluded its latest dance event with "AGAPE: The Story About Love Party" featuring Supermodel Diva RuPaul last February 28, 2006. It also brought to you last yea’s self-titled CircuitAsia 2005 with DJs Brett Henrichsen, Kimberly S, Gomi and Kevin Aviance (April 2005); Manila Pride with DJ Joe G, Scott Bolton and IMAGO (June 2005); Salvation with DJs Luke Hope, Pier Morrocco and Tonnic (October 2005); and White Party with DJ John DeAgo (December 2005).
CircuitAsia events in collaboration with Generation Pink (GP) Magazine and Fabuloush.com, and benefits the Gift Foundation’s program on HIV / AIDS Awareness.
