American Writers Fellowship Program Announce Annual Short Fiction Contest

Media Partners LLC and the American Writers Fellowship Program to hold short story contest and will publish winners.

Pleasant Grove, UT (PRWEB) March 3, 2006 -- The American Writers Fellowship, in conjunction with Media Partners LLC, announce their annual short fiction contest with winners being published in book form and promoted worldwide.

According to organization officials, each year Media Partners LLC and the American Writers Fellowship select ten winners of the Writers Fellowship Short Fiction Award. The authors winning manuscripts recieve a cash award and their work is subsequently published by the Writers Fellowship Press under a standard book contract and distributed and promoted throughout the world. The Writers Fellowship may select more than ten winners occasionally.

Eligibility:

The compitition is open to writers in English, whether published or unpublished.

Stories that have appeared in anthologies or magazines may be submitted. Stories previously published in a book-length collection of authors own work may not be included. Manuscripts must be typed, must fall between the range of 10 to 15 doubled-spaced pages and must be numbered consecutively (by hand is acceptible). The name, address, phone number, and email address if applicable should appear on the cover sheet. photocopies are acceptable if they are legible and printed on good quality white paper. All submissions must be accompanied by a $20.00 submission fee. Please make checks payable to Media Partners LLC. Retain one copy of the manuscript for your files. Manuscripts submitted to the contest will not be returned.

Authors may submit manuscripts to other publishers while the same manuscript is being considered for this competition. Please notify us immediately if your manuscript has been accepted elsewhere after it has come under our review process.

Authors may submit more than one manuscript to the competition as long as each submission is accompanied by a $20.00 check, meets all eligibility requirements, and does not duplicate material submitted to us in another manuscript.

Dates for Submission:

Manuscripts must be submitted between March 17, 2006 and April 28, 2006 (postmark should be no later than April 28, 2006). Send manuscrpts to Media Partners LLC, 881 West State Street #140-451 Pleasant grove, Utah 84062. Winners will be notified by July 14, 2006. All entrants will recieve a letter announcing the winning manuscripts. Authors winning manuscripts will be expected to submit the manuscript on disc.
