"Chasing Horses" (AmErica House, 2001 - isbn# 1588512592), a romantic comedy/suspense novel by Christy Tillery French of Knoxville, TN, has been named Book of the Month for March, 2002 by the United Authors Association (UAA) and by the United Writers Association (UWA), both international organizations created by authors.

"Chasing Horses" was previously named Book of the Month for December, 2001 by the SisterNews Book Club of Knoxville, Tennessee.

"Chasing Horses" has also been placed with the McClung Historical Collection of the East Tennessee Historical Center as part of the local and genealogical history of East Tennessee.

French's second novel, "Wayne's Dead," (AmErica House, 2002), a psychological thriller, will be published summer, 2002. Her poem "Don't Want You (for My Man)" has been selected for publication in the poetry anthology "Letters from the Soul" (International Library of Poetry, 2002).
