Film Executives, Critic, Join Damah Film Festival Jury

Damah Film Festival-Spiritual Experiences In Film announces three new jurors - producer Hunt Lowry (“A Walk to Remember,” “The Last of the Mohicans,” “Airplane!”), Fox Home Entertainment Executive VP Simon Swart, and Entertainment Weekly critic Chris Willman-to join panel for upcoming festival in Culver City, CA.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 10, 2006 -- Damah Film Festival-Spiritual Experiences In Film has announced the addition of three new jurors to join the current 11-member panel that will select winners in the upcoming festival to be held in Culver City, CA.

The new Damah jurors -- producer Hunt Lowry (“A Walk to Remember,” “The Last of the Mohicans,” “Airplane!”), Fox Home Entertainment Executive Vice President Simon Swart, and Entertainment Weekly film and music critic Chris Willman -- will join a panel including Scott Derrickson (“Exorcism of Emily Rose”), Stephen McEveety (“Braveheart,” “The Passion of the Christ”) and Ralph Winter (“X-Men,” “Fantastic Four”).

Lowry, currently CEO/President of Roserock Entertainment, also produced box office hits “Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood,” “Donnie Darko,” “The Kid,” “What a Girl Wants,” and “A Time to Kill” among many others.

Under Swart's guidance, Fox Home Entertainment achieved record setting revenues and profits and garnered numerous accolades including Wal-Mart's “Vendor of the Year” and Best Buy's “Best of the Best” award.

Critic and senior writer Chris Willman covers music, film, TV, stage and DVD for Entertainment Weekly. Willman's stories on bands like U2, the Dave Matthews Band, Aerosmith and Coldplay regularly grace EW's cover.
