Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) March 10, 2006 -- The Bright Future Adoption Foundation today announced its initial series of financial grants to assist five couples in adopting orphaned children.

The Cincinnati-based foundation, launched last year, awarded $3,000 each to agencies facilitating the adoption process for the couples. The adoptive parents hail from Ohio, Kentucky, South Carolina, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The children to be adopted are from Ethiopia, China, Guatemala and two from the U.S.

Said Anne Chambers, Bright Future Adoption Foundation founder and president: “We are so pleased to have these four couples in their efforts to create a loving and caring home for their adopted children. It is our hope that the foundation will attract additional funds from organizations and individuals that will permit us to increase significantly the number of families and children placed in adoption that we can help.

The foundation is the outgrowth of the experience of Anne Chambers and her husband, Cliff Schwandner Jr., in adopting their daughter, Annie Chang, in China 10 years ago. The foundation, in fact is named after Annie. Chang in Chinese translated into English means Bright Future.

Contributions to the Bright Adoption Foundation, which are tax deductible, can be sent to BFAF at 637 Redna Terrace, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
