CountryReports.org Indicated as a Social Studies Resource The magazine Social Education published by the National Council of Social Studies mentions CountryReports.org as a resource for teaching international issues and geography. Pleasant Grove, UT (PRWEB) March 16, 2006 -- CountryReports.org has been indicated as an online resource for teaching international issues and geography by C. Frederick Risinger, author and former director of social studies programs at Indiana University.
"I don't usually include subscription pay websites in this column. However, CountryReports.org has such a wealth of information about every nation in the world that I'm including the site in my recommendations... Social studies departments and school libraries may find this money well spent" Frederick Risinger stated in a recent issue of Social Education.
"Some of the reasons that may have led Mr. Risinger to advocate CountryReports.org is that we are consistently adding new content unlike many abandoned sites that exist on the Internet" stated David Driggs, CEO of CountryReports.org.
Founded in 1997, CountryReports.org has grown into one of the largest online databases on countries and their cultures available online. With over 27,000 pages available, teachers, parents and students are apt to find the information necessary to learn about various countries from around the world.
