Greater Lumberton Business Association Announces 1st Annual Charity Golf Outing is June 5, 2006

The Greater Lumberton Business Association announced today that its 1st Annual Charity Golf Outing, which will take place on June 5, 2006, will benefit two local charities and one individual: The Githens Center, The Crossroads Program, and Mr. James Kormann Jr.

Lumberton, NJ (PRWEB) March 20, 2006 -- The Greater Lumberton Business Association announced today, that it would be hosting the 1st Annual Charity Golf Outing on Monday, June 5th, 2006. This event will begin at 10:00am at the Golden Pheasant Golf Course, located in Lumberton, NJ, and will help raise funds to assist the Githens Center and The Crossroads Program; as well as Mr. James Kormann Jr, a Medford resident with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

The Githens Center is a local non-profit organization, which provides services that improve the quality of life for those with physical and/or other disabilities and prepares them for independent living.

The Crossroads Programs, Inc. is a comprehensive youth and family services provider for at-risk youth who may be abused, homeless, runaways, abandoned and/or neglected in the South and Central New Jersey region.

James Kormann Jr., Medford resident who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, requires a special van to get around town. Part of the proceeds will be donated to keep his vehicle maintained and insured.

The cost per person for golf and dinner is $85.00. The Golf Outing will be a scramble format and Dinner will be at the Avion Restaurant at the Flying W Airport. Various levels of sponsorships are available ranging in price from $100 for a Bronze Sponsorship to $1000 for a Platinum Sponsorship.

The Golfer Registration Deadline for the event is Sunday, April 30th. The Sponsorship Deadline is May 15th.

Gold Sponsor - Includes ½ price on Foursome/Dinner and signage at Check-in - $500.00

Silver Sponsor - Includes signage on a Green - $250.00

Bronze Sponsor - Includes signage on a Tee - $100.00

Golf and Dinner - Per person - $85.00

Dinner only     - Per person     - $45.00

The Greater Lumberton Business association was formed to create a community of business owners and business managers, share information and knowledge with this business community, and conduct productive monthly meetings and activities in the greater Lumberton area for businesses. It is an organization that represents and speaks for business owners, but cares about and considers the needs of the community.
