Novintel Survey: Intelligence Desk Driving Clients’ Business Success

Novintel, the leading international provider of customized Market Intelligence services and solutions with offices in London, Helsinki, and Toronto, is proud to announce the results of a customer satisfaction survey. The survey was targeted at the end-users of 18 customer companies using Novintel’s Intelligence Desk™ solution for continuous market monitoring.

A total of 843 service users responded to the survey, and nearly 90% of the respondents were of the opinion that using Novintel’s market monitoring services saved more than 1 hour of their time on a weekly basis. This is noteworthy, since many of the end users are executives with tight schedules on the one hand, and high level business information needs on the other. Additional valued aspects in the service were ease of use, highly relevant content, and an illustrative presentation of facts.

Some of the survey highlights:

  • 89.9% of the survey respondents were very satisfied with the quality of the service.
  • On the average, when keeping up to date with relevant market developments, 89.5 % of the respondents evaluated that the service saves them more than 1 hour per week. The time savings are largely due to the users not having to regularly scan through a wide variety of information sources by themselves, but letting Novintel’s information professionals do that for them.
  • 90.3% of the end users regarded the service as “easy” or “very easy” to use
  • 843 individual respondents from 18 of Novintel’s Partner customer organizations (average response rate was 31.7 %).
  • In the open comments, many users brought up very concrete issues related to their individual requirements: While strategic planners tend to need increasingly concise, yet carefully analyzed and communicated intelligence output, sales people and others at the operative level typically need pieces of information that will tangibly help them in winning sales and developing existing customer relationships.
