Midwest ATC Services to Receive PAR Simulator

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) March 21, 2006 -- Adacel, an industry leader in software integration, simulation development, and speech recognition technology, announced today it has secured a new contract with Midwest ATC Services to provide a dual-seat Precision Approach Radar (PAR) simulation training system.

The contract involves the delivery and installation of a PAR simulator with Adacel’s Speech Recognition (SR) technology. The training system supports two working positions, the Approach Control and Precision Approach Radar and includes a Communications System supporting both working positions.

This new system will assist Midwest ATC Services in training air traffic controllers in PAR procedures by providing a realistic simulation environment. The contract also allows the flexibility to upgrade and expand its capabilities as future requirements evolve.
