Introducing the Culinary Podcast Network (TM) The Gilded Fork™ presents some of the web’s best food podcasters in one place for your daily dose of gastronomic musings. New York, NY (PRWEB) March 25, 2006 -– Food is a serious subject for passionate gastronomes. In order to provide an array of voices in one convenient place, the Gilded Fork™ is delighted to announce the launch of the Culinary Podcast Network.
“We’re excited to present this collection of high-quality podcasts, essentially providing a ‘channel’ where listeners can tune in for their daily dose of gastronomic musings,” says Jennifer Iannolo, founder and publisher of the Gilded Fork. In its first week, the Culinary Podcast Network has made it to the Top Ten listing in the iTunes food category.
The initiative is the brainchild of Mark Tafoya, host of the ReMARKable Palate podcast and Executive Chef of the Gilded Fork. “I listen to all these podcasts myself, and look to them for great content,” says Tafoya. “Unlike traditional broadcast media, podcasts are not in competition with each other for listeners, since consumers can listen on their own time. So why not bring all the best together in one place, where you can get the podcasts hot out of the oven?”
The network currently features the following podcasts:
ReMARKable Palate Podcast -- Chef Mark Tafoya & Jennifer Iannolo New York, NY
CHIC Podcast -– Chef Tom Beckman Chicago, IL
Chef Marc’s Culinary Adventures -– Chef Marc Vogel San Francisco, CA
Gastrologica -– Steve Wasser & Chef Dan Cincis Los Angeles, CA
All You Can Eat -– Don Genova (Nominated for a 2006 James Beard Award) Vancouver, BC
Jim’s Kitchen –- Chef Jim Jondreau Long Island, NY
Hungry Mag –- Mike Nagrant Chicago, IL
Eat Feed –- Anne Bramley Durham, NC
Upcoming podcasts include “Food and Philosophy” with host Jennifer Iannolo and the Gilded Fork’s own “Test Kitchen Notes Vidcast.” All podcast updates, as well as the RSS feed, can be found at www.culinarypodcastnetwork.com or on the iTunes directory.
