Drexel University Launches Special Education Certification Program Online

This new certification program offers current teachers the skills and expertise in the area of Special Education.

Drexel University Online, a leader in online degree programs, has added a new online certification program to its offerings, the Special Education Certification program, from Drexel’s Goodwin College: School of Education. The Special Education Certification program seeks to produce professionals who are equipped with the fundamental skills, knowledge, and competencies necessary to meet the needs of students at risk for school failure and students with disabilities in multiple settings. This program is intended for current certified teachers who are interested in gaining greater skills and expertise in the area of Special Education and a special education certification in the state of Pennsylvania.

Similar to Drexel’s other online programs, this fully-accredited Special Education Certification programis offered entirely online, and is intended for working professionals. Students will have 24/7 online access to class materials, group discussion, instructor feedback, and exams.
