Eicon Networks' and Esna Technologies Expand Strategic Partnership

Esna technologies embeds Eicon networks telephony hardware into its award wining Unified Communications platform Telephony office-LinX.

Eicon Networks Corporation (“Eicon”), a global leader in providing world class products and technologies for media processing, and Esna Technologies, Inc (“Esnatech”), a leading provider of Unified Communications solutions, today announced that Esnatech has entered into an agreement to purchase Eicon’s Diva Server Boards and will be releasing Eicon’s full suite of high density Diva® Server telephony hardware with their Telephony Office-LinX platform.

Eicon’s Diva Server hardware provides Esnatech and their customers a hardware platform that is reliable, scalable and cost effective. The Diva Server family of robust all-in-one communication adapters offers connectivity via Analog, ISDN Base Rate (BRI) and Primary Rate (PRI) as well as E1/T1 type of interfaces. Diva Server can handle any combination of ISDN, GSM, V.90 analog, fax, and voice calls -- making them a perfect choice for building Remote Access, Fax, Unified Messaging, Voice and CTI solutions. On board Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) perform key real-time tasks that would normally cause an excessive burden on the host server. With one dedicated DSP per channel, the Diva Server adapters offer maximum performance. Ranging from 2 to 240 channels per system, Diva Server adapters offer the right scalability for all type of organizations looking for an easy-to-manage and cost-effective solution for their open communications environment.
