Pliner has launched his 2006 spring collection, with "A Toast To Spring".
Along with debuting his new line, the event helped raise money for the Planet Hope foundation. Pliner donated 10 percent of the day’s sales to the organization. In addition, he doubled the proceeds with apparel donations from Donald J. Pliner.
BeverlyHillsPeople.com was on hand for the event which lured enthusiastic costumers, many of whom have been Pliner's dedicated patrons for many years. With his beautiful wife Lisa and their adorable little Maltese, Baby Doll, on hand, Pliner accented the occasion with champagne and tasty Hors d'euvres for all of their guests.
Donald J. Pliner added footwear to his line in 1998. What started as a basic shoe style made mostly from elastic has evolved into luxurious footwear for men and women, leatherwear for men and women, handbags, and belts.
Added comfort is provided by the reasonable pricing of Donald J. Pliner footwear.
Donald J. Pliner began his career as a designer at a very young age. He followed in his father footsteps, who was a shoemaker and a business owner himself.
As Pliner stated to Beverly Hills People, he rose to retail prominence 35 years ago with the Right Bank Clothing Co. Located on Camden Drive in Beverly Hills, one block away from his current boutique.
In 2004, Donald has launched Friends of Baby Doll Pliner, a collection featuring outerwear, collars, leashes, harnesses, day carriers, and FAA approved airline carriers for dogs up to 20 pounds. Donald states, “Whatever we do for two legged we do for four legged.”
