St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and promises to bring an abundance of clover-clad attire and Irish cheer to Oklahoma City. Following in tradition, many local lads and lassies also will be raising their glasses of green beer to celebrate with friends—and, as a result, some will find themselves unable to safely drive home. To help protect everyone on the roads, J. Colbert Injury Lawyers is providing a Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program this St. Patrick’s Day for adults who have been drinking or who don’t feel they have a safe way to get home.

“A little planning can go a long way on St. Patrick’s Day,” said attorney John Colbert, founder of J. Colbert Injury Lawyers. “But if you don’t have a safe ride home, we’re happy to provide one for free.”

The law firm is teaming up with Airport Express taxi service to provide rides from a bar or restaurant to an individual’s residence—not to other drinking locations. This includes pickup locations in the Bricktown area as well as establishments close to Western Avenue and Memorial Road. Due to the high number of ride requests on St. Patrick’s Day, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate everyone who requests a ride home.

Free Rides Home—No Clover Charge
The Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program will be available from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, through 3 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010.
