Public Health Foundation Enterprises, (PHFE), Dedicates the Annette T. Drake Board of Directors Suite PHFE dedicated its new board of directors suite in honor and memory of Annette T. Drake. Ms. Drake served as the Secretary of the PHFE Board of Directors until her untimely death in December 2009. Ms. Drakes children attended the ceremony at PHFE headquarters in City of Industry, California. Huntington Beach, CA (Vocus) March 12, 2010 At its regular February, 2010 meeting the board of directors of Public Health Foundation Enterprises, (PHFE), formally dedicated its recently constructed board of directors suite in honor and memory of Annette T. Drake. Ms. Drake had served as the PHFE Board Secretary until her untimely death in December, 2009. Prior to serving on the PHFE Board Ms. Drake served as the Director of Administration of the California Wellness Foundation. PHFE moved its corporate headquarters in June, 2009 and included in the new location was a boardroom with attached affice space for board members some of whom travel to the quarterly board meetings form across the country. Attending the dedication were Ms. Drakes daughter Lori Crawford, her son Scott Drake and members of the PHFE board of directors and executive staff. Dr. Azhar Qureshi, President of the PHFE board reflected on Ms. Drake's contribution to the PHFE board by noting that, "Annette was a tireless champion for moving PHFE forward during this time of transition and growth. She had a unique combination of commitment to the tasks at hand and a personal warmth and style that seemed to make the work easier." During the dedication, several of the board members shared their personal stories and rememberances with Ms. Drake's children. Ms. Drake's children in turn shared their special stories about their mother. "While this is a truly sad and tragic loss, it is also an opportunity to remember the importance of the lives we all have outside of our work," said Mark J. Bertler, CEO of PHFE. "We are fortunate that Annette choose to spend some her time with us and we are richer for that." ###
