“The John Kerwin Show” Features Special Guest Donny Most Star of “Happy Days” and Director of “Searching for Mickey Fish” to Appear on Los Angeles-Based “The John Kerwin Show” on April 22, 2006 Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) April 16, 2006 -- Donny Most, beloved actor who portrayed “Ralph Malph” from "Happy Days," joins talk show host John Kerwin in the latest episode of the Los Angeles-based “The John Kerwin Show.” The air date will be Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. on the Adelphia Cable System.
Donny recently directing the upcoming film “Searching for Mickey Fish,” which stars Daniel Baldwin, Treat Williams and Curtis Armstrong. In his appearance, he shared his memories about growing up in Brooklyn, where he attended the same high school as Barbra Streisand, and how his entry into show business was inspired by watching “The Al Jolson Story” over 100 times in his youth. Discussing his time on "Happy Days," he revealed that he originally tried out for the part of “Potsie,” and although that part was awarded to Anson Williams, his audition impressed then-Paramount executive Michael Eisner so well that he insisted Donny be featured in the main cast. He also related how he and the cast met John Lennon, who dropped by the set one day during a taping. The guest and host Kerwin enjoyed an easy rapport, and as Donny mused over his decades-long career as an actor and director, Kerwin coaxed him into delivering his famous "Happy Days" catchphrase, “I’ve still got it!,” to the delight of the studio audience.
The show will be broadcast to greater Los Angeles area homes serviced by the Adelphia Cable System on channel 98 in most locations; in Beverly Hills on channel 43, and Santa Monica on channel 77.
