Richmond Hill, GA (PRWEB) April 16, 2006 -- Internet talk radio show, Army Wife Talk Radio (AWTR), hosted by Tara Crooks, will air an interview with Alice Wax Founder of www.nmam.org and Emery McLendon of www.armad.net.
The month of May is National Military Appreciation Month, a time for us all to think about the sacrifices made by our military and their families. This year more than any other, our service men and women need to know all of us appreciate their role in protecting and defending our nation’s freedom - during times of peace and especially in times of war.
National Military Appreciation Month includes VE Day, Military Spouse Day, Loyalty Day, Armed Forces Day, National Day of Prayer and Memorial Day. It doesn't take much time to become involved. You can show your appreciation by helping www.amillionthanks.org, and by displaying the American Flag on your home, car, or business from May 1 to Flag Day June 14.
ARMAD is an annual Amateur Radio Special Event project that stands for Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day. Amateur Radio Operators from around the world team up during this joint effort to allow the people from our communities to gather at public locations such as shopping centers, parks, VA hospitals, and sporting events to express verbal positive support "LIVE" over two way radio for members of the Military, Veterans, Reserves, National Guard, Retired, Coalition Forces, and military support groups.
AWTR will broadcast its interview with Alice Wax and Emery McLendon the week of May 15, 2006. It is available via the website, www.ArmyWifeTalkRadio.com, and will be archived for two months following the airing.
