In their Educational Podcasting Seminar: "Podcasting , Education and Lifelong Learning", the co-hosts of the 'Podcast for Teachers' and 'Adventures in Transformative Learning' share how they and other educators are using podcasting to bring more excitement and education to learners of all ages. They encourage educators to attend this live interactive workshop and share additional ideas for using podcasting and other popular web technologies for educational purposes. The seminar begins online in an audio conference room, at 3pm EST on Sunday April 23rd, as a part of the International Podcasting Expo, April 21 - 23, 2006. All that is needed to participate is an internet connection, speakers, and a microphone if you wish to interact via audio.

Dr. King has planned, designed, conducted, and researched faculty and staff development in educational technology for K-12 schools, higher education institutions, organizations, and corporations. Her background is also distinct in that although she is an educator, she also has been a "techie" as a private computer consultant for hardware and software purchasing and troubleshooting and training for several years. Dr. King is recognized for her unique expertise in combining her knowledge of adult education with computer technology in faculty and staff development.
