Dallas Movie to Utilize 85 min. Continuous Shot in Movie, a First for American Movies

For only the second time in the world and the first time in America a movie has been made in one continuous take.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 20, 2006 –- Bryant Entertainment completed principle photography April 8, 2006 on its latest project, The Long Shot. Set in a neighborhood bar in the hour and a half before closing, The Long Shot takes an irreverent look at the goings-on of the bar's inhabitants. This movie utilized local Dallas-area talent both in front and behind the camera.

Shot using HD technology, this 90-minute movie marks the second time anyone has successfully created a feature-length movie in one continuous shot (no breaks, one camera, all one scene) and the first one done in the US (the first, Russian Ark, was done in Russia in 2002). To prove their claim Bryant Entertainment used a secondary camera with time-stamp to record the making of the movie.

The soundtrack will feature local Dallas bands such as Strangleweed, Toughbreaks, and Back in Black.
