The first annual “Best Law Firm Web Site” competition, hosted by the North and South Carolina editions of Lawyers Weekly Newspaper, drew more than 100 entries. Firms were entered into one of three categories based on their size and judged on six main criteria. The judges looked for elements ranging from overall look and feel to ease of navigation.

Judges Dale Tincher and Mike Duncan evaluated the Womble Carlyle Web site along with many others. Both said that Womble Carlyle had one of the strongest branded sites among all those reviewed, stating that the site offered several tools and resources to the consumer that were both useful and easy to find.
