3-D Underwater Graphics Contracts World Famous 3-D Artist for Exclusive Print Series Ray Zone, leading artist in 3-D movies, comics and toys, to create nautical maritime and whimsical Sets. Altamonte Springs, FL (PRWEB) April 24, 2006 -- Geoff Ficke, President of Duquesa Marketing, Inc. (DMI) announced that famed 3-D artist Ray Zone has agreed to create an exclusive series of 3-D poster art for the launch of 3-D Underwater Graphics (3D UG). The art will be applied to a patented underwater poster technology that can be viewed using 3-D goggles and creates a highly intensified viewing experience.
“We are exceedingly proud to be working with Ray Zone,” said Nancy Ficke, General Manager of DMI. “His work with Walt Disney, Warner Brothers, A&M Records and so many other great projects is proof of his renown and creativity in the 3-D medium.”
3-D UG owns the proprietary process enabling pool owners to affix printed posters, art and customized designs to flat surfaces of swimming pools. The result is that pool walls turn into a whimsical, fun, exciting visual arts oasis. The Company is in discussions with a number of licensing organizations to assign specific category rights for sports team and corporate branding.
“I have been doing 3-D graphics art since 1983 for comic books, movies, album jackets, even underwear”, said Mr. Zone. “The category has never been bigger, Underwater Graphics will be a great success. The swimming pool will explode with life and this completely new use of the technology.”
DMI, managing consultants for the 3-D UG project, plans to complete development this summer and a fall 2006 launch is scheduled. The posters will be sold in series of four and will self-adhere to swimming pool walls.
