The Brooke Trace Gallery hosts 1st Anniversary Gallery Opening benefiting the American Cancer Society, Friday, April 21 from 6 to 10 p.m.

(PRWEB) April 20, 2006 -- The public is invited to join in the celebration of The Brooke Trace Gallery's 1st Anniversary Gallery Exhibit Opening, Friday, April 21st from 6-10 p.m. The event takes place at 1098 NE 45th Street (Floranada Road).

The event will feature a silent auction hosting a variety of items donated by local supporting businesses located in Oakland Park and Wilton Manors. Proceeds from the event will benefit The American Cancer Society.

Displays will include a wide variety of unique and original artwork ranging from watercolor and oil on canvas, to photography and sculpture. The special featured artist is John Salko, “Man of Abstraction.” His colorful abstract paintings emerge with a willful presence and hypnotic strength that rivet the eye. Gallery artists include, Rob Robi, Jeff Shulman, Mike Turner, Bruce Yodanis, Ed Pang, Brooke Trace, Max Gold, Ashton Howard, Tripp Harrison, Naomi Malka Litzenblatt and others.

The silent auction will support The American Cancer Society through donations by our sponsors.
