Madison, WI-based folk/rock singer-songwriter, Nick Venturella announces show date for his new SweetSonic CD release. The anticipated album release will be celebrated on August 19, 2006 at popular Madison club, Cafe Montmartre.

(PRWEB) April 25, 2006 -- Madison, WI-based folk/rock singer-songwriter, Nick Venturella announces show date for his new SweetSonic CD release.

Saturday August 19th, 2006 will be the greatly anticipated CD release show for Nick Venturella’s fifth album, “SweetSonic,” on OatMeal Records The show will be held at Café Montmartre (127 E. Mifflin St. Madison, WI, www.themomo.com). Festivities will begin at 8pm with Sean Michael Dargan opening the show. ($5.00 cover charge…must be 21+ to get in).

"It’s shaping up to be a pretty big party, so come on down and invite your friends," Said Venturella.

Venturella also just launched his online merchandise store. Fans will now be able to purchase Nick Venturella apparel, stickers, postcards, and albums online. Tuesday April 25th, 2006 Nick Venturella will be performing on the Regina Terrace of the beautiful Edgewood College Campus in Madison, WI (1000 Edgewood College Dr.). This performance is part of this year’s “Zero-Year Reunion” (aka, senior night). Edgewood College seniors, alumni, faculty, staff, and other students will be on hand to have a great time. The event begins at 5pm, Nick will begin performing at 6pm.

Saturday May 6th, 2006 Nick Venturella be performing at Sprizzo Gallery Caffe (378 W. Main St. Waukesha, WI, www.sprizzo.net) as part of the reoccurring Waukesha Art Crawl. Sprizzo has some great food and drinks. This is a free all ages show, also be sure to check out some of the art around town. The show begins at 5pm.

In Other news...Nick Venturella is scheduled to be featured, along with Madison visual artist Mick Evans, in the new online magazine Contessa Says…(www.contessasays.com). Contessa Says founder, Jessica Thompson, promotes local Madison visual artists and musicians/bands.
