LeadPoint Appoints Former Shopzilla CEO Chuck Davis to Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) April 25, 2006 -- LeadPoint, Inc., the world’s first lead exchange marketplace, today announced the appointment of former Shopzilla CEO Chuck Davis to its growing Board of Directors.

Since he joined the company during pre-revenue times as president and chief executive officer in late 1999, Chuck Davis enabled Shopzilla Inc. (formerly BizRate.com) to become the largest, most profitable, and fastest growing comparison-shopping site online. His leadership led to The E.W. Scripps Company’s (NYSE:SSP) acquisition of Shopzilla in June 2005 for $569 million. Mr. Davis subsequently became Shopzilla’s Chairman until he left the company earlier this year. Mr. Davis now serves as a director for LeadPoint, Business.com, and LoyaltyLab and is Chairman of the Board of Fandango.

Mr. Davis also managed all Disney Internet advertising sales, marketing, and online subscription initiatives from 1996-1998. He also previously held senior positions at TV Guide and Time Inc.'s Sports Illustrated, and received the 2004 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Los Angeles.
