Rosie O Donnell TV Show tickets change hands for record new high of 500 dollars

New York City, NY, 05/02/2001 - TV Fans are trading Rosie TV show tickets on NYTix.com for $500 a pop.

It may be a "Free" ticket to the lucky few, but scoring a ticket to see Rosie O Donnell tape her TV show at the NBC building in New York is getting pretty expensive for the majority of unlucky fans as Rosie tickets are now being traded for $500 a pop.

Rosie's show is scheduled to end on May 22nd 2002 but her audience is as voracious as ever to get into the last shows that remain. It seems irrelevant that Rosie will also be hosting the Kids awards and the final Survivor in Central Park as well as her other After Rosie" TV interests.

Noel Turner, President of New York TV Show Tickets, a fan based website that operates a forum at www.nytix.com that allows fans to trade tickets says "Never before have we seen such an appetite for Rosies show - Its gone completely nuts, we have received over 10,000 emails requesting tickets for Rosie in the last six days alone"

According to Noel, "Price projections for Rosies final show are about $5000, which is completely ridiculous for a ticket that is essentially free", "In the past Saturday Night Live and Letterman tickets have also traded hands for ridiculous sums of money, but this is totally unprecedented"
