UnumProvident Policyholders Need to Act Before Deadline

June 30th is the deadline for claimants to file for a reassessment of certain disability claims that were denied by the insurance giant.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 4, 2006 -- Certain policyholders whose disability insurance claims were denied by UnumProvident between Jan-01-97 and Dec-31-99, may now be eligible to have their claims reassessed.

Policyholders now have the opportunity to refile their disability claims denied by Unum Life Insurance Co. of America, UnumProvident, Paul Revere Life Insurance Co., Unum National Insurance Co., and Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co., as UnumProvident has extended the deadline to Jun-30-06.

Claimants that were terminated or denied on or after Jan-01-00, but were never sent a reassessment notice by the Company, are also eligible to apply for reassessment of their disability claims.
