First Time Ever Open House for Eye of the Storm Equine Rescue

(PRWEB) May 5, 2006 -- For the first time since its founding, Eye of the Storm Equine Rescue in Stow, Massachusetts is inviting the general public to come and visit. Come see the barns and the horses at an open house and tack sale on Saturday, May 20 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The rain date is May 27.

While visiting the horses and enjoying refreshments, you can browse a huge collection of new and used tack for sale at below market prices. You'll find excellent prices on everything from blankets to saddles. Show clothing is for sale as well and everything is high quality. All proceeds support the upkeep of the rescue horses. Eye of the Storm volunteers will have a horse decorating contest to show off their equine creative spirit.

Eye of the Storm (http://www.equine-rescue.com) is located at 65 White Pond Rd. Stow, MA, off Rt. 117 in the Lower Village section of Stow. There will be signs to follow on the day of the open house. Eye of the Storm is an equine rescue center dedicated to saving the lives of horses that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Even when our barn is full, we help place unwanted horses in loving homes. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to rent our barn, buy food and supplies, and get medical care for our horses.
