HawaiiBeachcombers Celebrates First Year Anniversary with Call for Partners

What started as a niche website just a little a year ago is starting to branch into subject areas easily categorized as niches within themselves. Focusing on Hawaii beaches, HawaiiBeachcombers.com's author is looking to find individuals and businesses that have an interest in Hawaii beaches and those activities, products, and concerns to which they are related.

Kailua-Oahu, HI (PRWEB) May 5, 2006 -- The old phrase, "Life's A Beach!", has probably earned its place among the "most-worn-out" cliches but it has no rival when used to describe a small but growing website, http://www.hawaiibeachcombers.com.

Unlike the genius of Craig's List or the Million Dollar Website, both of which are based on a revolutionary idea that few will ever be able to duplicate, hawaiibeachcombers.com might well represent the web presence of the masses--strong traffic-drawing sites based on nothing more than one's personal experiences and all that revolves around those experiences.

Not to say that the internet isn't already flooded with personal ramblings and all sorts of html and xml launches into cyberspace. Instead, this growing presence of sites that don't necessarily sell products but instead support themselves using advertising like print and television companies, could very well become the largest category of websites out there in virtual land.

Built around the theme, Hawaii Beaches, hawaiibeachcombers.com was started to serve as an album of sorts for what the author's primary interests were... like kayak fishing, fishing, diving, and a bit of reminiscing about windsurfing. That happened, and rather quickly. Soon, topics seemingly unrelated to these subjects started to creep into the website. Hawaii beach properties, Hawaii Vacation Rentals, Restaurants, and a list that's growing everyday.

The potpurri of subjects included in Hawaiibeachcombers might give the feeling that the site would be somewhat chaotic to visit, but traffic volume and patterns, along with the site's ratings seem to indicate the ecclectic assortment of content really does work! Richard Young, the site's designer (who barely understands html) explained that the site's Alexa rating is at 130,000 and traffic is growing steadily... all without advertising or pay-per-clicks.

Young's focus right now is to capitalize on the momentum the site has enjoyed and he is interested in hearing from folks who might share his interests in Hawaii beaches and are interested in partnering for certain areas of the site. Hawaiibeachcombers has just celebrated its first birthday. "Now," says Young, "it's time to invite some folks to join in the party!"
