
2010 Center Choice Award Winners Announced The winners of Center's 2010 Choice Awards have been announced. Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) April 2, 2010 The annual Center Choice Awards recognize outstanding photographers in three categories – Curator’s Choice, Director’s Choice and Editor’s Choice awards. This competition attracts the most esteemed jurors including the Photo Editor from the New York Times Magazine and the Curator of Photography at the Museum of Modern Art. This year, over 6,000 images were submitted to the awards from 24 different countries including Denmark, Iceland, Iran, Portugal and Singapore. The winning work included provocative images dealing with significant social, cultural, environmental and emotional issues including: indigenous people in America, contemporary subcultures of children, veterans of the Cuban Revolution, dead bird species as well as many worthy fine art projects.
