INDIAN DAYTIME SOAP SIRENS COME TO US.

New Delhi, India/Tulsa, Oklahoma, May 9, 2002

River's West Productions, Inc, Cleveland, Oklahoma, in collaboration with In Focus Productions, Inc., New Delhi India, announces that they are co-producing a new television soap opera, entitled Mrigtrishna-the Mirage. Mrigtrishna, the brainchild of writers Suzanne Patric and Albert Grant, was created specifically for the Indian audience in America, Canada, Great Britain and Australia. Filming for the first thirteen episodes will begin on May 14th, 2002 and continue until July 1st , 2002 with an expected release date of August 1, 2002.

Mrigtrishna brings to mind the moods and mysteries of the Far East. It will be directed by Milind Gaur and will star Indian actors Banowari Teneja, Soni Razdan, Madan Jain, Amir Bashir, Mahru Sheik, Rahul Bohra, Shiv Dewan, Sonal, Benjamin Gilani, Nimmi, and Tom Alter. Famous Indian costume designer, Sujata Sharma is in charge of the costume and property design.

Filmed entirely on location both in India and Thailand, Mrigtrishna tells the story of three beautiful sisters Ayesha Shah is the oldest and has married into one of India=s wealthiest families. Next is Malini, the middle sister who tries to keep the best of both the ancient Indian traditions and the fast pace world of the twenty-first century. She is married to a successful business man who has a secret past he has managed to keep hidden from the world. Lastly, there is Lisa, the rebel. She has had numerous affairs but has managed to settle down to just one man who shares a secret life with Malini's husband. Ayesha's husband is Samir Shah, the son of Ravi Shah, recently widowed head of a multi-national corporation. Ravi is being pursued by the siren, Zinta, who is allegedly Ravi's lost half-English, half-Indian sister. Mrigtrishna is a story filled with family politics, intrigue, back stabbing, jealously and many hidden secrets.

Mrigtrishna will be available for airing by August 1, 2002 and will be played on various cable and satellite companies. It will also be available for sale on VHS and DVD. The public will need to check the website www. Mrigtrishna.com for further updates.
