Torrance, CA (PRWEB) May 17, 2006

Broadata Communications Inc. (BCI), a world leader in the development of cutting edge communications technologies, is pleased and proud to announce the next evolution in the Broadata product lineup. BCI will feature the 230i/520i model in the 2006 InfoComm (Information Communications Marketplace) Trade Show, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, on June 7-9, 2006, in Booth #423. BCI’s 230i/520i units are capable of transmitting one channel, baseband, NTSC/PAL video, one stereo audio pair (2 audio channels) and multiple RS-232 or RS-422 data channels over IP/Ethernet networks. Through MPEG compression, the BCI product encodes the video, audio and data into 10/100 Ethernet packets and transports them over a common Ethernet/IP network where it is decoded back into its native format. Image, audio and data qualities are maintained at professional levels throughout the transmission process. No sophisticated user adjustments are necessary in configuring the product, enabling quick setup, trouble free operation and low operating costs.

Freddie Lin, President and CEO said, “The design of this product is similar to other BCI products in that ‘ease of use’ is foremost, providing a true, ‘plug and play’ installation experience. Product versions are available for point to point applications, point to multi-point applications, streaming or multicast applications.”

Broadata Communications, Inc. (BCI) develops, manufactures, and markets leading edge, fiber optic, multimedia communication products. The company’s patented products include audio, video, and data delivery over optical fiber or IP/Ethernet Networks for advanced multimedia, broadcast, and network transmission applications. BCI’s multimedia platforms enable end-users to implement multiple applications, conventionally requiring multiple optical transceivers and fiber links over a unified platform, requiring only a single optical or IP/Ethernet link.
