Full Cycle to Host Bike Drive Benefiting Trips for Kids Boulder Event will provide mountain bikes for underserved youth Boulder, Colo. (Vocus) April 15, 2010 Full Cycle will host a bike drive benefiting Trips for Kids Boulder's (TFKB) youth mountain biking program on April 24th through May 2nd at its Boulder store location on 1795 Pearl St. Full Cycle's bike drive will help TFKB build a fleet of bikes for the youth mountain biking program, which is designed to connect underserved youth with the environment, and to the sport of mountain biking. The organization plans to begin rides targeting young novice riders this summer at several Boulder open space parks. TFKB's goal is to reach 200 to 300 youth cyclists in 2010, 300 to 400 youngsters next year and, eventually, like its parent organization Trips for Kids Denver, provide fun, positive, cycling-based programming to over 700 underserved youth each year. TFKB is in need of 25 quality mountain bikes with 26” and 24” diameter wheels that are in good to fair condition. Bicycle donations will be accepted at Full Cycle in Boulder any time between April 24th and May 2nd. "Young people are the future of cycling and we support Trips for Kids efforts to introduce the sport to the children in our community who, unfortunately, do not have a bike or family situation to participate,” said Karli Gronholm, Full Cycle shop owner. "This is a great way for the shop to make a difference and ensure additional young people have the opportunity to get out and try the challenging and fun sport we love.” About Trips For Kids Denver/Boulder
