Mankato, MN (PRWEB) May 21, 2006 -- David Bergsland presents tools and techniques for page layout using InDesign in a tested course of study presented through HTML on a CD. It can be used as the companion CD to How To Do Everything in InDesign which he wrote for Osborne (McGraw-Hill). It also works well for simple self study. If you want teaching or mentorship, David provides that through his Website: http://bergsland.org in almost any fashion that works for you. He has decided to use Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world's fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books because publishers consistently chosen to publish WOW-factor books from celebrities instead of solid practical training on the day-to-day activities of the average graphic designer..

InDesign CS2 Tutorials & Coursework presents basic tutorials, complex skill exams at all levels of skill, and four PDF booklets that give written instruction on using styles, designing booklets, designing brochures, and the new features of CS2.

Free OpenType Pro Fonts, this CD also includes 28 OpenType Pro fonts that David regularly sells on MyFonts.com (Bitstream) and fonts.com (Monotype) at more than $20 each. They all have nearly 500 characters with small caps, small capo figures, oldstyle figures, fractions, and much more that can be used easily in InDesign.

David put this CD together in response to numerous requests for materials like these. The practicality and clarity make these materials exceptional teaching and training materials.

“Customized materials for specific markets is one of the real benefits of on-demand publishing,” David says. “These materials are in the same style and of the same quality as those used in my popular courses taught at Albuquerque TVI from 1991 to 2005.”
