Vancouver, WA (PRWEB) April 16, 2010 CTS LanguageLink, a leading language service provider, is a sponsor of the 2010 National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) Marketing and Green Conference, being held in San Francisco, California. With the win of a few key contracts last year, CTS LanguageLink has experienced record interpretation volume growth. As an example, the Western States Contracting Alliance(WSCA) contract for Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) services provides an excellent opportunity for member states to take advantage of cost-effective, quality services for their end users. "CTS LanguageLink has been servicing the WSCA contract since February 2009. During that time, the company has seen the WSCA volume grow from 11,000 minutes per month to well over 100,000 minutes. We now provide OPI services under the WSCA contract to the states of Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Utah, with additional states due to become active soon. We're proud of the quality of our interpretation team and our state-of-the-art IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and telecommunications technologies that allow us to provide accurate, reliable, cost effective services to our customers," states Pamela Ballard, Chief Operations Officer for CTS LanguageLink. The WSCA contract covers the fifteen member states' Over-the-Phone Interpretation requirements in all languages, representing roughly 3 million minutes of annual service. This contract is available to all state entities, or other organizations who receive any public funding or grants, such as non-profits, school districts, and healthcare facilities. WSCA's fifteen member states join together in cooperative multi-state contracting in order to achieve cost-effective and efficient acquisition of quality products and services. Additionally, because WSCA is an affiliate of the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO), any NASPO member state (49 states total) has the ability to utilize this contract as well, based on each state's parameters.
Since the company's inception nearly two decades ago, CTS LanguageLink has maintained a very strong presence in the government sector as a trusted provider of language services. One of CTS LanguageLink's niche markets for the last several years has been providing the translation, printing and audio recording of multilingual ballot material in several languages for many cities and counties within the State of California. CTS LanguageLink is a leader in the language services industry and boasts a long list of clients in the government sector and continues to grow this segment with the aggressive marketing of national contracts, such as WSCA. "CTS LanguageLink is committed to serving the needs of our public offices and organizations in their efforts to effectively communicate with the public, whose language diversity continues to grow. CTS LanguageLink provides that vital link for city and state agencies and offices to keep in constant and clear communication with the communities they serve," adds Jeff Barger, CEO and President of CTS LanguageLink.
