Nike, Jordan brand, adidas, Bape Sta, and other exclusive shoe and clothing product wearers are hailing the site as a fresh air to their shoe boxes. The exclusive shoe club wants to see 100 members join per month and say its very possible. (PRWEB) May 22, 2006 -- SneakerCut.com, which just launched in April 2006, is the first Sneaker shoe club of its kind.
The nike, adidas, reebok, bape sta sneaker collectors of the world are rejoicing because of the exclusive shoe releases club. Costing a yearly membership fee to be a part of the club, its saved its' members from having to shell out hundreds of dollars on shoes that were purchased from stores by resellers, that focus on marking up the more exclusive shoe releases by amounts that can vary from $50 to $400 US dollars.
Collectors are spending double the suggested retail of their Nike and Bape Sta products to get limited edition shoes. A lot of people in general want those Hyper Strike, Quick strikes, Urban Account releases, and some General release shoes that sold out. Nike Air Jordans, Dunks, Dunk SBs, Air Maxes, Air Force 1s, Bape Sta chompers, and other exclusives. However, SneakerCut.com's founders do not think just because its exclusive it should be marked up inconsiderably.
Since opening, SneakerCut.com has exploded onto the market, seeing phenomenal growth. The exclusive releases shoe club even gets members from across the world and not just North America now. Going from under 10 pairs of shoes to over $15,000 inventory in less than 6 weeks, the company has targeted a hope of getting 100 members per month to join from the millions of Sneaker Collectors out.
'We've received a lot of hate from resellers,' said CEO Rod Rainey laughing on the matter. 'We just launched our forum to compete with major shoe resellers forums online like InStyleShoes (known as Sole Collector to some), that are blinding their members. I mean, come on, look at the shoe prices on their site. They are supposedly helping shoe culture by selling kids $90 sneakers for $200? We were just banned from their forum for advertising our site, when every sneaker store across America does this daily and that tells me we're doing our job," said Rainey.
SneakerCut.com, which started with only Nike products expanded into acquiring the latest Bape Sta and adidas adicolor releases in limited quantities. Plans to expand to buying more sizes will happen as the club heads towards its goal of adding 100 new members to their clientele list with all different kinds of foot sizes.
The Sneaker Cut company has even started a Grass Roots marketing team that will be giving respectable shoe forums such as Uptowns, Hype Beast, Kick-Fiend, Nike Talk, and Sole Redemption incentives for joining the expanding collectible shoe, sneaker club. Even MySpace has been tapped to help network and unify Sneaker collectors that could benefit from joining the Sneaker Cut club.
SneakerCut.com says that on average so far, club members save $100 on each $200 they spend by shopping through SneakerCut.com.
Sneaker Cut also wants to target the female Nike and adidas shoe collectress market and start landing major product for them on their site. Sequoia Hill, a well-known sneaker collector, is going to head off the grass roots marketing project directed at females.
