“Business people on the Internet make subconscious decisions in milliseconds as they click around the web,” says Axxiem President Susan MH Lewenz. “We believe we need to capture the visitor’s attention immediately by engaging him or her with even just the hint that this site is different than all those millions of other sites out there.” The longer a visitor stays, the deeper he clicks, the better the odds of him taking the desired action. That is Axxiem’s design premise used as it announces the launch of four new clients:

Security 1031 Services, LLC (www.sos1031.com) is a national Qualified Intermediary for all types of I.R.C. §1031 tax deferred exchanges. “We needed to redesign our original site to focus on ease of navigation for the diverse audience we serve - from lawyers, real estate people, CPA’s and individual investors, we needed to make this subject approachable and understand in a couple of clicks. This new site offers each audience targeted information for them, as well as tools, and, of course, a way to reach us immediately,” says Todd Pajonas, President of Security 1031 Services, LLC. “We are very pleased with the redesign of our site and the feedback has already been tremendous.”

There are billions of web pages on the Internet, millions of websites, and hundreds of thousands of Insurance sites. Allan M. Block wanted a look that said “we’re different.” The new design for Allan Block engages the visitor and presents the many varied products in a clear, visually engaging manner. Personal and commercial lines are clearly distinguished so that shoppers can easily hone in on the products they are looking for and make contact with the company with only a few clicks. “We’re pretty sure you’ve never seen anything like the new Allan Block Insurance website and we like that,” says Ed Schultz, President of Allan Block Business Lines. “Because we’re not just any old insurance agency. We say we provide professional care with the personal touch, and we mean it. That’s what our website says too.”

City Center Dance (www.citycenterdance.com )

City Center Dance is one of the top dance facilities in Westchester County, NY. Students regularly perform at renowned venues such as Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden. “When we took on this redesign project,” said Susan MH Lewenz, Axxiem President, “I immediately felt that the feel had to be through color and space. Dance is alive – the website had to bring you that feeling.” The new site presents the studio, its student and its programs through a broad canvas of images. The new site also empowers Artistic Director Dina Giordano to easily update program and schedule information through special admin tools. “We love the new site,” says Giordano, “in image, color and design, the new website says who we are and that is what a website should do.”

Compassion and Choices of New York (www.compassionandchoicesofny.org)

Compassion & Choices of New York is a nonprofit organization which helps patients and their loved ones face the end of life with calm facts and choices of action during a difficult time. “Obviously the subject of end of life choices is not an easy one,” said David Leven, Executive Director of Compassion & Choices of New York. “We needed a website that handled the issue with the same care, dignity and respect that patients in this situation require. Our issue is about choice, not about death, and that was the main message we wanted for the website. Axxiem developed a beautiful space for our members and the New York community as a whole to come together on this important issue.” The new website for Compassion & Choices of New York was developed by AxxiemCorp as part of its “AxxiCARE” program designed to assist eligible non-profit organizations to improve their presence on the web.
